By default, SMS templates use a standard date format that may not match regional preferences (e.g 04/02/2025 vs 02/04/2025). You can set your preferred format to avoid confusion and ensure dates appear the way your users expect.
Configure date format for SMS templates
- From the left-side navigation menu, click on the Sinch Inbox and Bulk SMS tab.
- Click on the ⚙️ Settings icon in the top-right corner.
-
Choose the Date/Time Format you prefer from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Save button. The page should reload and you can now use the date/time format in your SMS templates.
-
(Optional) If you'd like to set a custom date/time format, click Switch to customizing date/time format. Enter the custom date/time format you prefer under the Customize Date/Time Format field and click the Save button. The page should reload and you can now use the date/time format in your SMS templates.
You can click the (i) information icon to see the available symbols.
