To get the most out of Sinch SMS for Salesforce, you can assign permission sets then add additional components and features e.g. adding the message feed and SMS inbox, creating custom phone mapping fields, configuring the SMS button as well as SMS opt-out.
Assign permission sets
You can view permission sets and assign permission sets directly within Salesforce by clicking on the Assign permission to all users button.
The following permission sets are installed with the application:
- Sinch SMS Full: Assign to users requiring full access to the application - including the Setup & Configuration tab. This set is recommended for Salesforce administrators.
- Sinch SMS Universal License: Assign to users requiring the ability to use the app in full - excluding the Setup & Configuration tab. This set is recommended for non-admins.
Note: A permission set called Sinch SMS Non Admin may be present. This set has been replaced by the Sinch SMS None License set.
Once you've completed assigning permission sets, you can navigate back to the Setup & Configuration tab in the Sinch SMS for Salesforce app to continue to add components and features.
