If a user receives an error message when trying to send SMS when using the Sinch SMS for Salesforce integration, this is often because the user hasn't been assigned the full Sinch SMS for Salesforce access.
Update Sinch SMS for Salesforce user access
To assign a user full Sinch SMS for Salesforce access and allow them to send SMS through the integration:
In Salesforce, click on the Setup (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.
Search for and click on Permission Sets.
Click on Sinch SMS Full (you may need to change the number of records shown or click Next to see this).
Click on the Manage Assignment button.
Click on Add Assignment.
Select the relevant user(s).
Click the Next button.
Click on the Assign button.
Note: If the user is a Salesforce platform user, they won't be able to use the Sinch SMS Full License. In this case, they'll need to be assigned the Sinch SMS None License to send SMS.
