When sending messages with a URL, link click reporting shows how many times each link was clicked and by which recipient. Once short trackable links are enabled in your Sinch MessageMedia account, you can track link clicks for messages sent through your HubSpot workflows. Campaign link click data can be viewed in both the HubSpot platform or within the Sinch MessageMedia platform - depending on how you prefer to work.
Important: To report on URL link clicks, the Short Trackable Links feature needs to be activated in your Sinch MessageMedia account. Short Trackable Links is a feature that automatically shortens any URL to just 22 characters, saving you valuable space in your SMS messages and helping you to keep costs down when sending web addresses in your messages.

Link clicks by URL
The reporting function in HubSpot allows you to filter using a specific URL so you can report on how many recipients clicked on the link. To do this:
- In the left-side navigation, click on Reporting.
- Click on Reports.
- Click the Create report button.
- Click the Single-object report tile.
- For the data source, select Contacts.
- Click Next.
- From the Properties section, click the Add Contacts Property button.
- Search for the contact property First Name (under Contact information) and the (Mobile or WhatsApp) Phone Number field you use for your contact records.

Click Advanced Filters.
- Search for the contact property List of links click by contact.
- Select contains exactly, then enter your campaign URL.
- Click the + Add filter button.
- Search for the contact property Create date (under Contact information).
- Select a suitable filter e.g. Create date is after the date you started creating contacts (for all-time).
- When you're ready, close the Filters editor.
- Click in the Custom Contacts Report field at the top and give your report a Name.
- Click on the Next button which will bring you to the Visualization tab.
- Select Table as the Chart Type.

Use the drop-down to select Unsummarized data table.
- When you're ready, click the Save report button.
- Select the option to add the report to an existing dashboard, a new dashboard or don't add to a dashboard.
- Depending on which option you choose, you may need to fill out further details e.g. selecting an existing dashboard or adding details for a new Dashboard and selecting access permissions.
- Click Next / Save & add.
- You should now see your report in the list on the Reports page so you can access it at any time.

The campaign reporting function in the Sinch MessageMedia platform allows you to view how many times the campaign link has been clicked and by which recipients. To do this:
- Before you can view your campaign opt-outs in the Sinch MessageMedia platform, make sure you insert a campaign name into the Workflow ID field in the Send SMS action when creating a HubSpot workflow.
- To view the campaign link clicks, sign into your associated Sinch MessageMedia account.
- From the left-side navigation, click on Messaging and then on Campaign Reports.
- Click on the Campaign Name you want to view.
- You'll see detailed information on different aspects of the campaign e.g. outbound, inbound, opt-outs, undelivered and link clicks (if your campaign included trackable links).
