Tracking segment (link) clicks helps you understand engagement and optimise future SMS campaigns. By creating an Active Segment in HubSpot, you can easily identify which contacts clicked a link in your message - all in one place.
Note: This only tracks links in messages sent from HubSpot. The link has to be clicked from an end-user and the segment has to be saved in order to run.

You can create a workflow to add link clicks to an active segment. To set this up:
- From the left-side navigation, click CRM and then Segments (Lists).
- Click the Create segment button.

The filter criteria has to be the exact site sent from the initial content e.g. https://www.sinch.com and not a shortened version even if our URL Shortener feature is enabled (https://nxt.to/).
- Once you're ready, click the Review and save button.
