You can capture and store opt-out information at the individual contact level, making it easier to track and report on SMS unsubscribe activity.
Custom contact properties
When you connect HubSpot to the Sinch MessageMedia platform, two custom properties are automatically added to each contact record:

SMS Opt Out/In: This property reflects a contact's subscription status for SMS.
- Opted out: The contact has unsubscribed from SMS messages
- Empty: The contact is currently subscribed to receive SMS
- SMS opt out date: This property captures the exact date a contact opted out of receiving SMS messages.
To view these properties:
- Navigate to the contact record.
- Click to the Actions button.
- Click View all properties.
- Under the Contact Information section, scroll down to the SMS Opt Out/In and SMS Opt out Date fields.
How it works
These fields are automatically updated when a contact has opted out of receiving SMS messages.
You can use the SMS Opt Out/In property as a filter to run reports and see which of your contacts have opted out of your broadcasts.
