If you have multiple Sender IDs (numbers or alphanumeric sender IDs) on your Sinch MessageMedia account used for workflows, these Sender IDs will be pulled into NetSuite during sync events.
Sync Sender IDs for workflows
- Scheduled Sync: A scheduled script runs every day at 1 AM for each relevant time zone (AEDT, NZDT, GMT, or PDT).
- Automatic Sync: NetSuite will automatically sync with Sinch MessageMedia during any upgrade, and at the time of installation.
- Manual Sync: There's a Sync Sender ID button Sinch SMS > Preferences > Sinch - Preferences) that you can use at any time to perform a manual sync.
Your number will display as configured in your Sinch MessageMedia account:
- Dedicated Number and the label (the phone number and name in the Sinch MessageMedia platform)
- The dedicated number
- An alphanumeric sender ID (excluding USA, CA, and NZ)
Once the Sender IDs are synced to your account, you can use them for workflow initiated messages. If you only have one number, then the application will default to send from that number.
If you delete a Sender ID in the Sinch MessageMedia platform, any NetSuite workflows specifically using that Sender ID will fail to trigger and will result in an error message and no record of the transaction.
