To send MMS messages in HubSpot, you'll need to enable your Sender ID to send MMS and save your media in your HubSpot account.

Enable your Sender ID to send MMS

You'll need a dedicated number to set up on your Sinch MessageMedia account to send messages (including MMS). You can check your dedicated numbers by clicking on Settings in the left-side navigation bar and then on Numbers.

  • If you have an existing dedicated number, check the Capabilities column. If it's been set to 'SMS', you can contact support to ask for MMS capability to be enabled for your preferred dedicated number.
  • Alternatively, you can click Add a number and then add a new number by selecting the option with SMS, MMS capabilities.

Save media in your HubSpot account

To send MMS from workflow triggers, you'll need to have images saved in your HubSpot account first. To do this:

  1. In HubSpot, from the left-side navigation click on Content and then on Files.
  2. (Optional) You can click on Create folder to add folders and sub-folders to manage your files library.
  3. Click on the Upload files button to add your files.

Note: Images for MMS must be less than 410kb.

When sending MMS messages from workflows, you'll need to check the file visibility and get the file URL by clicking into a specific file. 

  • File URL visibility: Each image/file needs to be made Public to be used in an MMS message
  • File URL: The link you'll need to use when sending MMS messages workflows.

Note: Maximum file sizes are as follows:

  • US: 500 KB in jpg, png, gif, 3gp, mp4, mpg, avi, wmv, mp3, wav and pdf
  • Other sending countries: up to 410 KB in jpg, png and gif

  • Image: 2MB
  • Video: 10MB
  • Gif: 2MB
  • Audio: 2MB
  • Others: 2MB
