After sending or receiving an SMS in HubSpot, the message activity is logged on relevant records for easy visibility. For direct messages or contact-based workflows, the activity appears on the contact record. For deal-based workflows, you can view on the associated contact record, the company, the deal, or all three.
View SMS or MMS activity within a contact record
- From the left-side navigation bar, click on CRM and then Contacts.
- Click into the specific contact record you want to see the activity for.
- Click on the Activities tab.
- The contact view should default to the Activity section.

If the SMS or MMS activity doesn't show in the activity log, click on the Filter activity drop-down and check the box for Sinch SMS & MMS (under Integrations heading).
Note: This setting only applies to the specific contact and is only visible to the user who enabled it. It won’t apply across all contacts or be shared with other users.
View SMS activity within a company record
- From the left-side navigation bar, click on CRM and then Companies.
- Click into the specific company record you want to see the activity for.
- Click on the Activities tab.
- The contact view should default to the Activity section.
