SMS for NetSuite uses webhooks to record replies and delivery receipts. Before setting up webhooks, you need to create access tokens under an employee record with admin access.
Note: The employee record used to create the access token must remain active in order for webhooks to continue working. If the employee originally chosen must be deactivated, a new access token must be generated under an active employee record.
Create tokens for webhooks
To create tokens for webhooks:
- In the top-navigation bar, hover over the Lists tab.
- Hover over Employees and then click on Employees.
-
Find the desired employee record with admin access and click Edit.
- Within the employee record, click on the Access tab.
-
Add the role Sinch Integrator (Managed).
- Click Save.
- In the top-navigation bar, hover over the Setup tab.
- Hover over Users/Roles and then Access Tokens. Click on New.
-
Configure the Access Token:
- APPLICATION NAME: MessageMedia Integration (Managed)
- USER: The desired employee record
- ROLE: Sinch Integrator (Managed)
- TOKEN NAME: This will automatically populate as you fill in the fields above
- Click Save.
- After the record has been created, scroll down and copy the TOKEN ID and TOKEN SECRET. Save this information somewhere safe to be used when creating webhooks.
You can now continue to configure webhook records.
