HubSpot | Send SMS to associated contacts from a deal

The Sinch MessageMedia integration for HubSpot tickets lets you send and receive SMS messages directly from a deal. All messages are automatically logged on the deal timeline, giving you and your team full visibility into the conversation as well as tracking SMS engagement and ROI - ideal for deals with multiple stakeholders or when a customer prefers to communicate via SMS.

Send SMS from a ticket

You can easily send SMS messages directly from a deal to any associated contacts, providing each contact has a valid phone number. Currently only Contact object properties are supported. Inbound contact-specific properties (e.g. Last received sms) won't populate against Deal objects.

1. From the left-side navigation bar, click on CRM and then Deals.
2. Click into the specific deal you want to work on.
3. On the right-side menu, scroll down to the SMS section.

4. Click on the Actions button and then click Send SMS to the contact you want to send an SMS to. 

   

5. Create your message and click Send Now.

6. You can see all the SMS messages you've sent to the associated contact in the ticket Activities tab.

   Note: If you send an SMS from a contact’s profile instead of the deal record, the message won’t appear in the deal activity timeline. To keep communication visible to all stakeholders, send messages directly from the deal.
