The Sinch MessageMedia and HubSpot integration allows you to easily create SMS templates to streamline your one-to-one communications. Simply build and save templates in your Sinch MessageMedia account and they'll automatically sync with HubSpot, making them easy to access directly when sending messages from your contact records.
Create templates in Sinch MessageMedia
Templates are an effective way to save time and maintain consistency when sending messages you use often - whether it’s for one-to-one communication or broader campaigns.
You can create and manage templates directly in the Sinch MessageMedia platform. Only Account Administrator or Advanced users can manage templates. If you have a Basic user account, reach out to your administrator for access.
When sending SMS from HubSpot, any templates saved in your Sinch MessageMedia platform will automatically be available - including those with data fields.
- Standard data fields e.g. #firstname# will pull information directly from the corresponding HubSpot Contact fields.
- Custom data fields created in the Sinch MessageMedia platform won't work in HubSpot as HubSpot Contact profiles don't include those non-standard data fields.
Use templates in HubSpot
Once your templates are created and saved in the Sinch MessageMedia platform, to use templates in HubSpot:
- From the left-side navigation bar, click on CRM and then Contacts.
- Click into the specific contact you want to send an SMS or MMS to.
- On the right-side menu, scroll down to the Most Recent SMS/MMS section.
- Click Send or reply. If available, any prior SMS message history will appear above this button.

In the pop-up window, scroll down and click on Templates to select the template you want to use.
