Mega Merge - it's now much easier to add merge fields from related modules
When sending messages using merge fields, you can now retrieve the merge field data from multiple related modules across Zoho CRM.
Decision Maker Connect - manage SMS communications with multiple stakeholders all in one place
You can now keep track of all SMS messages sent to individual contacts associated with a deal are visible within the deal record. This is super handy for keeping track of all the communications between key deal decision makers and any of your team members involved in the deal.
Small tweaks and bug fixes
- Decluttered the appearance of the Smooth Messenger inbox by removing the "onboarding progress bar".
- Reduced the quantity of API calls used by Bulk SMS.
- Resolved the issue with From/To not being available as phone number fields in workflow SMS.
- You can now right click on MMS and open them in a new tab.

Cancel Scheduled SMS - you can now cancel scheduled messages before they're sent
Whether you need to cancel a scheduled 1:1 message, a specific campaign, or all your scheduled messages, you can get it sorted in a couple of easy steps. This is super helpful if you realise there was a typo in the message or if there's a change in plans.
Sending SMS from the Tasks Module - we've added the Smooth Message popup to the Task Module
Just like the Leads Module, it’s now possible to send an SMS from the Tasks Module using the phone number of a linked contact or lead.

More Smooth Messenger Inbox Upgrades:
- Magnified Message Details - now when you hover over the timestamp and from/to numbers below a message, the text size will increase so it's easier to read.
Expandable Message Composer - when you're writing a long message, you can now increase the size of the message composition window to see the entire message.
- Resolved the issue that was causing scheduled messages to display in the Needs Reply tab despite the message recipient not yet replying - the Needs Reply section in the inbox should now function as expected.
- Resolved the issue where the incorrect default From number was being used - the correct default From number should now be used when sending messages.
- In some instances, merge fields weren't displaying properly in the edit template screen - this has been corrected.
- Adjusted the display size to remove the additional scrollbar that appears on smaller screens.

Previously, you needed to use the ‘Send Smooth Message’ pop-up to send templated messages or schedule messages to send at a later time. Now you can achieve this straight from the conversation view and inbox, enabling more rapid replies. You can now also add tasks directly from the inbox view – handy if you need to take further action to follow up on an SMS inquiry.
