Configure General Settings
Redirect Settings
Decide where you want to go in the system once you've sent a message:
- Do not redirect: Stay on the same page
- Redirect from send confirmation to conversation: Go straight to the conversations/inbox page
- Redirect from send confirmation to recipient entity: Return to the entity's page
Default Country Code
Enter the country you send to most often. If a mobile number isn't formatted correctly, this setting ensures the message is sent with the right country code.
Admin Contact Email
To start sending messages with SMS for Dynamics, make sure you save your Admin Contact Email. This is where we’ll send important update notifications about the app.
Set Your Sender ID
Before you can configure your Sender IDs in SMS for Dynamics, you'll need to set them up in the Sinch MessageMedia platform as either a Dedicated Number or alphanumeric sender ID (formerly alpha tags).
- Sync Sender IDs: Use the manual sync button to update your Sender Ids so they match what's in the Sinch MessageMedia platform. If you make changes in the Sinch MessageMedia platform, you can sync them at anytime by returning to the SMS for Dynamics Configuration page and clicking Sync Sender IDs.
- Mobile & Alphanumeric Sender IDs: When you sync your Sender IDs across from the Sinch MessageMedia platform, they'll be listed here. If you're using the shared number pool in Sinch MessageMedia, this column will be empty.
- Reference Name: You can name your Sender IDs to make them easier to identify when sending messages.
- Default Sender ID: Select a default Sender ID for your outgoing messages. You can update this at any time in the SMS for Dynamics Configuration page.
Note: If you're sending messages from a Sender ID and the country code doesn't match that of the recipient's number, the sending number will default to the shared numbers pool.
Once you've completed the General Settings options, click Save to complete the setup of SMS for Dynamics. You can view or update the connected account ID and general settings at any time from the Configuration tab.
