When you connect your ActiveCampaign account to the Sinch MessageMedia platform, you can easily view any replies that you receive to an SMS that has been sent as part an ActiveCampaign workflow. To connect, you’ll need the following from your ActiveCampaign portal:
Event Key and actID
API URL and API Key
Event Key & actID
- Log in to your ActiveCampaign account.
- From the left-side navigation, click on Website.
- From the left-side pane, click on Site Tracking.
- Scroll down to the Event Tracking section.
- Copy and paste your Event Key to a notepad or word document.

Click on Event Tracking API.

Copy and paste your actID to a notepad or word document.
API URL & API Key
- From the ActiveCampaign portal, click on the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.
- From the left-side pane, click on Developer.
- Locate the API Access section, click on the Copy API URL button and paste into a notepad or word document.

Click on the Copy API Key button and paste into a notepad or word document.
Connect your accounts
If you have an existing Sinch MessageMedia account, to install the ActiveCampaign integration:
- Log in to the Sinch MessageMedia platform.
- From the left-side navigation bar, click on Extensions and then Integrations.
- Locate the ActiveCampaign integration tile and click Install.

In the pop-up window, click the Connect Now button.

If you'd like to sync your contacts from ActiveCampaign to Sinch MessageMedia, ensure the checkbox is selected.
- Click Next.

Enter the information from the ActiveCampaign portal:
- actID
- Event Key
- API URL
- API Key
- Click Connect.
After connecting, you can configure your connection to add SMS to ActiveCampaign workflows.
