If you've already connected your ActiveCampaign account to the MessageMedia platform, the next step is to configure the connection so you can add SMS to your workflows, as well as trigger workflows from inbound SMS replies.
Connect ActiveCampaign account to MessageMedia
- Log in to your ActiveCampaign account.
- From the left-side navigation, click on Automations.
- From the left-side pane, click on Automations.

Click on the Create an Automation button.

Click the Start from Scratch option.
- Click Add a start trigger and select a trigger e.g. Subscribes to a list.
- Set your workflow conditions as required and click the Save button.

Click the + icon to add an action.

In the pop-up window, search for and select Send SMS via MessageMedia.

If it’s your first time connecting to a Sinch MessageMedia account or sub-account, you’ll need to create new Basic API credentials in Sinch MessageMedia and enter them here. Click Connect to finalize the configuration.
Note: You'll only need to create and enter a new API Key and Secret once for every Sinch MessageMedia account or sub-account you want to connect to ActiveCampaign.
- If you’ve already created new API credentials and configured your Sinch MessageMedia account(s) connections, select the account you want to use for your workflow SMS trigger.
- Finish building your workflow.
