Creating a Sinch MessageMedia account is simple – register via our Sympac partner sign-up page and follow the steps below. Please reach out to us at sales@messagemedia.com.au if you run into any difficulties. Once you have created your Sinch MessageMedia account, follow the instructions in this article to connect to your monday.com account.
Create your API credentials
- To create new Basic API Credentials, go to the menu and click on Settings > API Settings > then scroll down to Basic Authentication and click on Create new key:
- In the resulting modal, provide a descriptive name and click Create Key:

Once your API Credentials have been created, you'll see this confirmation. Copy the credentials to the clipboard then click Ok:
Important - This is the only time the Hub will display the API Secret, so if you're not planning to use it right away, we recommend saving it somewhere you can find it later. If you lose the API Secret, you'll need to create a new key/secret pair.

Finalise SMS integration - now that your Sinch MessageMedia account is activated and API credentials are created, return to Sympac and navigate to the Utilities, Help and Support tab, then User Parameters > System Parameters menu item:

Select 6 Communications:
You will need the API credentials from the MessageMedia site:
- Select MessageMedia as the Provider
- Enter your API key
- Enter your API Secret
- Click Save
It is recommended you then enter your mobile number and send a test SMS to validate the connection is successful.
