Onboarding uplift
Getting started with Sinch SMS for Customer Insights is now easier than ever. We've simplified the onboarding so that both new and existing customers can get up and running faster.
New customers can now sign up for a Sinch MessageMedia trial account and start testing SMS for Customer Insights by registering for a trial, generating your API keys from the Sinch MessageMedia platform and pasting these credentials into Customer Insights to start using the app.
Existing customers can log in to the Sinch MessageMedia platform, generate your API keys and paste these credentials into Customer insights to start using the app.
Sinch SMS for Customer Insights continues to support our NZ Carrier brands MutiTXT, eTXT and 2Degrees.
Opt-out management
Customer Insights now strictly follows the built-in consent center rules for opt-out management, following the consent purposes and SMS enforcement models set. The OptOut Status field will still be updated as it is a shared field with Dynamics and Sales 365, however will not be utilised when using Customer Insights.

An improved setup process for configuring SMS for Customer Insights to ensure your cloud flows activate correctly.
In-app upgrade notification
When a new version of Sinch SMS for Customer Insights is available, you’ll now see an in-app notification showing that an update is available. Select Click to upgrade to go to the Power Platform Admin Center and complete the upgrade.
Make sure in-app notifications are enabled in Power Apps so you never miss an update. Keeping your Dynamics application up to date ensures you get the latest features and improvements!

Appending Country Code for Local Phone Numbers
You can now send messages to Contact and Lead records with locally formatted phone numbers. The app now supports the ISO country code set against your Sinch MessageMedia account, so numbers are automatically formatted and accepted by the Sinch gateway. This means messages to locally formatted numbers will no longer fail.
