Before sending messages to the Philippines, please review the information below to ensure your setup meets local regulations.
Supported sender IDs
Alphanumeric sender ID (formerly alpha tag)
Important: Alpha tag registration is a lengthy process, and there is no way to fast-track approval. Please plan your campaigns accordingly to avoid delays. Pre-registration is required and involves signing an indemnity form, which you can request by completing this form.
Only one-way sending is supported from Alphanumeric sender IDs.
Once we receive your completed indemnity form, it will be reviewed by our specialist team. The review can take up to one month, followed by 4-6 weeks for registration.
Long Numbers
Long numbers are supported for receiving messages (MOs) only.
Outbound messaging is not supported from long numbers in the Philippines.
Short Codes
Short codes are available for local Philippine businesses only.
They support two-way SMS and survey use cases.
OTP, marketing, and broadcast messaging are not permitted on short codes.
