November 2025
Add RCS to your workflows
Users can now add RCS to workflows by creating a new action to send RCS outbound messages. This release also includes the SMS fallback functionality in case recipients aren't able to receive RCS messages.
Receive inbound RCS messages
The "When receiving an incoming text message (SMS)" trigger name has been updated to "When SMS or RCS is received" and allows users to receive both inbound SMS and RCS messages.
Get RCS read receipts
When using the "When receiving a delivery receipt" trigger, users can now get RCS read receipts.
June 2025
Number validation for destination numbers
We’ve simplified the message-sending process for users pulling phone numbers from CRMs, forms or other data sources. Our connector now supports passing the ISO country code set in the Hub, to automatically format local numbers so that they can be accepted by the Sinch gateway.
This means that users pulling numbers in local formats won't encounter failed messages, or need to apply extra developer work when sending SMS via our Power Automate Connector.
April 2025
New 'delivery receipt' trigger
The connector has a new trigger "When receiving a delivery receipt" which enables the receiving of delivery receipts of messages that have been sent out by the connected Sinch account.
New 'Get message status' action
The connector has a new action "Get message status" which returns the current status of a message based on the MessageId.
Bug fixes and refinements
-
The When receiving an incoming text message (SMS) trigger no longer requires parameters, making the trigger even easier to use.
-
The Send Text Message (SMS) action has two new advanced parameters.
- Delivery report: Yes/No - This must be set to Yes to be able to use the "When receiving a delivery receipt" trigger.
- Callback url: The URL for webhooks to be pushed to via HTTP POST request.
February 2025
Sender ID Enablement
Users can now select a Sender Id from the connector to set the Source Address for the messages being sent out.
This can be any provisioned alphanumeric sender IDs (formerly alpha tags), Dedicated numbers, Toll Free numbers or 10 DLC in E.164 international format (e.g. +614xxxxxxxx) so it appears on the phone as the sender.
Advanced Parameters - Metadata
Users can now send through meta data in outbound messages by using the "metadata" advanced parameter.
New Receive SMS Trigger
The connector has a new trigger "When receive an SMS" which enables the receiving of inbound messages.
New 'Get sender IDs' action
The connector has a new action "Get sender IDs" which returns a list of sender IDs that have been configured in your Hub account.

We've made connecting to SMS for Power Automate even easier by moving the Sinch services dropdown to the Connection area. This change means that users have to set this field just once and no longer need to populate this field for every trigger and action.
