Templates are quick to set up and make it easy to send the same type of message to multiple contacts e.g. appointment reminders.
Add new template from a CRM record
You can create a new template when sending a message to a specific contact:
- Open the message recipient's CRM record.
- From the navigation pane, click on Send Sinch SMS.
- In the pop-up messaging window, you can configure your message settings and + Add New Template.

Configure the new template:
- Template Name: Choose a name to identify the template.
- CRM Module: Select a module where the template can be used e.g. Leads, Contacts, Deals.
- Merge Fields: If you want to personalize your message, you can select the appropriate merge fields.
- Message content box: Compose the message you want to use as the template.
- We recommend checking and understanding the Estimated cost of the campaign before adding it.
- Click the Add button to save the template.
- To use the template, select it from the Template drop-down box.
- (Optional) Click the Edit button to update the template.
Add new template when sending bulk messages
You can create a new template when sending messages in bulk:
- From the left-side navigation menu, click on the Modules tab.
- Select the module where you want to send messages from e.g. under Sales, click on Leads.
- Select the checkbox next to the Leads name and then click the Send Bulk Sinch SMS button.
- In the pop-up messaging window, you can configure your message settings and + Add New Template.
- Configure the new template:
- Template Name: Choose a name to identify the template.
- CRM Module: Select a module where the template can be used e.g. Leads, Contacts, Deals.
- Merge Fields: If you want to personalize your message, you can select the appropriate merge fields.
