MMS is a great way to convey visual information or to just add some extra punch to your messages to improve engagement by using images, GIFS and even audio. Enabling the MMS feature on your account will allow you to send and receive picture messages.
- Sending MMS messages requires the feature to be enabled on your account
- MMS messages set are charged at a higher rate than a standard SMS message
- Receiving MMS messages requires the account to have a dedicated number associated to receive the messages into
- There is no charge for receiving MMS messages
Important - MMS (picture message) sending is available on post-paid plans only, and MMS messages are charged at a higher rate than SMS messages. If you can't see the Attachment message (MMS) tab in the message builder, it means this feature isn't enabled on your account yet. 1. In the menu, click on Messaging, and under the SMS Messaging subheading, select New Message:
2. In the Message content section, click on the Attachment message (MMS) tab.
3. Upload your image - files in .jpg, .png, and .gif are supported up to 410KB in size.
4. Give your message a subject - you can also include personalised fields (e.g. location) in your subject line.
5. Then write your message and make use of the AI assistant (if preferred).
6. Once you're happy with the content, click Send Now in the bottom right corner of the screen.
