If you're enabled for RCS sending within the Sinch MessageMedia platform and have an ecommerce store connected, you can import products directly from your store into your RCS rich cards - this includes enabling product information available in your store directly into the RCS rich cards to minimise manual data entry.
Ecommerce RCS Carousel (beta)
Sinch MessageMedia customers with a connected ecommerce store in the beta program can now import store products directly into RCS rich cards. To do this:
- Ensure you have RCS sending set up within the Sinch platform.
- Set up a new RCS campaign from the Messaging tab by clicking New message.
- Fill out the message details as required (Campaign name, Sender, Audience).
- In the Compose message section, click on the Rich cards option.

You can import multiple store products to create multiple cards by clicking the Import from store button next to the Compose message section. If you want to only import a single product to a single card, you can click the Import from store button in the Media section of the specific card e.g. Card 1.

If you choose to Import from store, you’ll be shown all the products from your store to select from.

You can also choose a product with variants available and you’ll be prompted to select the variant you would like to include. Items that are in stock will display a green ‘In Stock’ message.
- Click on Next.

Select all of the product data you’d like to automatically pull in from your ecommerce store. This will auto-fill the card with this information if available in your store.
- Media (product image)
- Title (product name)
- Description
- Price (price ranges will not be imported)
- Button (show now > product link)
- Click Fill content.

Depending on the number of products imported, you’ll see each card auto-populated with the data points selected. Note that there are a few limitations and formatting rules.
You can also preview your message on the right-side under the RCS option.
- (Optional) Complete the rest of the campaign details (SMS/MMS fallback message).
- Once you’re ready, you can send or schedule your campaign message.
Ecommerce RCS coupons
In addition to the ability to import multiple store products to create an RCS carousel, you can also add coupons to your RCS messages:

When composing an RCS message, click the coupon icon on the right side of the composer footer:
- A list of available coupons from your e-commerce integrations (such as Shopify and BigCommerce) will be displayed, allowing you to select the coupon you want to add.
- You can add one coupon per message. If you are composing a carousel, it is possible to add one coupon per card.
- You can track campaign performance, including coupon usage information, by navigating to SMS Messaging > Campaign Reports. Learn more here.
