SMS for Power Automate is another great SMS tool to add to your workflows, and the good news is, it'll only take a couple of minutes to set up and configure the connection.

1. Connecting the SMS function requires a Custom API Connector file called a JSON file. There's two variations of this file, depending on which region your Sinch MessageMedia account is held.

• Click on the region that applies to your account:
  • • Europe (EU)
    • Rest of World

2. The link will open in a new internet browser tab and will look like a bunch of tech jargon, which essentially it is. Now to turn this tech jargon into your API Connector file, you need to Save page as from the browser menu bar or settings:

3. When the Save As window opens, the file name and type are already there so all you have to do is select where you want to save the file (you only need to upload it to Power Automate once so the desktop or downloads folder is fine), and click Save:

4. Now that your API Connector file is ready and waiting, open Microsoft Power Automate and go to Data in the menu pane on the left, then click on Custom connections. From there, click on the New custom connector dropdown arrow in the top right corner and select Import an OpenAPI file:

5. Next enter a Connector name, then click on Import and locate the API Connector file, then hit Continue:

6. Finally, click on Create connector:

7. When you exit out of that page, you should find your SMS for Power Automate API Connector in Custom connectors under Data:
