Once you've installed the SMS for Dynamics app, you'll need to configure things like permissions and profile settings, so that it works as expected.
Here's how:
1. Access the SMS for Dynamics app and click Configuration in the navigation pane.
2. Next, you need to grant access to Common Data Service. To do this, click Give App permission under that section in the setup window:
3. Your office admin user needs to then accept the permission request. To do this, they must login and click Accept in the notification window that they should see:
4. Once this is done, go back to the Setup page and click Setup Profile.
5. Under Message Service Provider, use the dropdown box to select the service you’d like to integrate SMS for Dynamics with using an API key & secret.
Note: only one Dynamics 365 organisation can use a specific API key/secret. If you need to configure SMS for Dynamics on another org, you’ll need to create a new API key/secret.
