Mercury SMS is licensed per user and works with custom permission sets. You'll need to assign both licenses and permission sets to users requiring access to the app.
Assigning Licenses
To assign installed package licenses, follow the instructions in this Salesforce article:
Assigning Licenses for Installed Packages
Note - You don't need to assign Mercury SMS licenses if you've installed the app in a Sandbox environment as the app provides a sitewide license to all users. |
Should you need to increase the number of Mercury SMS licenses, please submit a request to our support team.
Assigning Permission Sets
The following permission sets are installed with the application:
- Mercury SMS Full - assign to users requiring full access to the application, including the setup and configuration tab; this set is recommended for Salesforce administrators.
- Mercury SMS None License - assign to users requiring the ability to use the app in full, excluding the setup and configuration tab; recommended for non-admins.
To view and assign permission sets, follow the instructions in these Salesforce articles:
Note - A permission set titled "Mercury SMS Non Admin" may be present - the set has been replaced by the "Mercury SMS None License" set. |
