HubSpot allows you to create custom reports using single objects and cross objects. This can be utilised to report on SMS activity within your HubSpot account.

When you first connect your MessageMedia account to HubSpot, additional custom properties are automatically added to your deals and contact records in HubSpot. It is also possible to create new custom properties in the HubSpot app.
The new custom properties are as follows:
- Total SMS sent
- Total SMS received
- Last sent SMS
- Last received SMS
These properties all start out as blank, and are populated over time with ongoing SMS activity provided you have created workflows in HubSpot to populate them.
For example, to keep track of the total number of SMS messages sent in relation to a deal for billing purposes, you can create a workflow to dictate that whenever an SMS is sent to contacts associated with that deal, the Total SMS field relating to that deal is increased by a value of 1. You can do the same to count inbound SMS messages by using inbound SMS as the trigger, with the action being to increase the "Total SMS received" field by 1.
Likewise, you can create a workflow to populate the "Last sent SMS" or "Last received SMS" field with the current date whenever an SMS is sent.
