- Make sure your recipients can opt out of any marketing messages you might be sending them. This means including an opt out message that encourages user to reply with a keyword such as 'Stop'. Once they reply with the opt-out keyword, the system will automatically prevent that contact from receiving any further SMS messages through the SMS for HubSpot app.
- You might want to send from registered alpha tag (e.g. your business name – approval required), as opposed to a mobile phone number. Sending from an approved alpha tag means recipients cannot reply directly to your messages, but also comes with additional compliance measures you must take to enable your recipients to opt out.
