Headers and footers can make a big difference to your messages and the engagement they create.
Unbranded messages can often appear as spam, or lose their impact if the matter is of an urgent nature. If your message is in the context of marketing, an opt-out option may be a legal requirement so it's a good idea to create a message footer to include this with every message.
Create a Header & Footer in the Conversation Window
It's actually really simple - from a contact or company profile page, click on the Conversations button to open the window:
Then on the left-hand side of the window, just enter your preferred header and footer in the fields provided, and click Update to save:
Create a Header & Footer for Bulk SMS
The process for adding a header and footer for Bulk SMS is a little bit more involved.
1. In the SMS window, click on the Configuration tab.
2. Create your Header and Footer in the relevant fields.
3. When you've done this, click Save Default:
This header and footer will appear for every Bulk SMS you send. You can edit the content of your header and footer at any time.
