1 | Enabling NetSuite Features
1. Log in to NetSuite using an Administrator role
2. Go to the Setup → Company → Enable Features → SuiteCloud Tab
1) Enable Client Suitescript
2) Enable Server Suitescript
3) Enable SuiteFlow
4) Enable Token-Based Authentication
5) Enable Custom Records
3. Go to the Setup → Company → Enable Features → CRM Tab
1) Enable Customer Support and Services
2 | MessageMedia Confirmation
1. Following your recent contact with our NetSuite sales team, you'll receive an email which will include you initial API credentials needed for steps 4.1.3 and 4.1.4 along with access to install the bundle. If you're presented with Limited Access when attempting the install, please reach out to our team at netsuite@messagemedia.com with your NetSuite Account ID so we can enable access.
3 | Installing the MessageMedia App
1. Click on the SuiteApp tab → Click into the Search SuiteApps box
1) Search for Sinch MessageMedia
2) Click Sinch MessageMedia SMS for NetSuite
3) Click on the Install button - if you see Limited Access when attempting to install please contact our team at netsuite@messagemedia.com providing your NetSuite Account ID so we can enable access
4) Click Install again
5) Installation will be complete when the MessageMedia SMS tab shows on your centre
4 | Setting up the API Connections
1. Go to MessageMedia → Preferences → MessageMedia API Credentials
1) Click New MessageMedia API Credentials
2) Under Credential Type choose Global
3) Under Username insert the api_key from the sales team
4) Under Password insert the api_secret from the sales team
5) Click Save
6) Repeat the steps above for the Workflow credential type
5 | Enable MessageMedia Integrator Access
1. Go to Lists → Employees → Click Employees
1) Find your Employee record → Click Edit
2) Go to Access → Roles → add the MessageMedia Integrator (Managed) role
3) Click Save
6 | Setting up the Webhook Connections
1. Go to Setup → Users/Roles → Access Tokens → New
1) Under Application Name choose MessageMedia Integrator (Managed)
2) Under User choose your employee record
3) Under Roles choose MessageMedia Integrator
4) Click Save
5) The Token ID and Token Secret will now show
6) Save for steps 6.2.3 and 6.2.4
2. Go to MessageMedia → Preferences → MessageMedia Webhook Config
1) Click Edit next to the Receive an SMS SMS Event
2) Under RESTLET” choose MM RL - Reply Webhook
3) Under Token insert the Token ID from 6.1.5
4) Under Token Secret insert the Token Secret from 6.1.5
5) Under API Key insert the api_key from the sales team
6) Under API Secret insert the api_secret from the sales team
7) Click Save
3. Go to MessageMedia → Preferences → MessageMedia Webhook Config
1) Click Edit next to the Receive an SMS SMS Event
2) Under RESTLET choose MM RL - Reply Webhook
3) Under Token insert the Token ID from 6.1.5
4) Under Token Secret insert the Token Secret from 6.1.5
5) Under API Key insert the api_key from the sales team
6) Under API Secret insert the api_secret from the sales team
7) Click Save
8) (Add) - Repeat for the Receive an MMS (AU/US only)
7 | Setting up MessageMedia Preferences
1. Go to MessageMedia → Preferences → MessageMedia Preferences
2. Click the New MessageMedia Preferences button or click Edit next to the current preferences record
3. Under Default Dialling Country choose your county
4. For all selection options for phone field, choose the best option for your business
5. Under Default Email Sender choose an employee record for sending the email SMS reply confirmations from
