Important: the information in this article relates to accounts that manage user login credentials via Sinch ID/ the Sinch Engage messaging platform. If your account uses a third party SSO tool to log in, a user password reset will need to be actioned via your SSO provider.
Your password can be reset in a few ways - from the login screen, in the profile settings page or if you're an admin you can reset a users password from the user settings page.
Reset from the login screen

Click Forgot your password? under the login button:

Enter your email address or username.
- A password reset email is generated and sent to the user.
- Upon receipt of the email, click the Reset my password link in the email.
- Create a new password via the resulting web link.
- Once your new password has been created, you'll be automatically logged into the Hub.
Reset from user settings page (for admins)
- In the menu, click on Settings, then select Users.
- Locate the user profile that requires the password reset.

Then click on the ellipses (three dots) menu and select Reset Password.
- An email will then be sent to the user to perform a password reset.
Reset from the profile settings page
You can also update your password once you're logged into the platform.

Click on the Profile icon, and then Profile:

In the profile screen, click on Change Password:
- Confirm your action in the prompt by clicking Ok.
- You will be redirected to the Forgot password page - enter your email address or username, then click the Reset Password button.

You'll then receive an email to perform a password reset.
Reset from Sinch ID self management portal
Important: the information in this section relates only to Sinch MessageMedia accounts that manage user login credentials via Sinch ID.

Click on the Profile icon, and then Profile > Manage Sinch ID:

The Sinch ID self management portal will open in a new window. Click on Change password:

You will receive a password reset email from noreply@my.sinch.com - if you try a few times and fail to receive this email, please reach out to support. Once received click the Change password button:

Enter your new password and click Reset password:

Once your new password has been created, you'll be prompted to return to the Sinch ID self management portal.

Once there, navigate to the Applications page and click Go to Engage (or whichever Sinch application you would like to login to) and you can then login using your new password.
