Setting an SMS limit means that the account can only send SMS messages up to the specified hourly or daily volume limit. Any messages exceeding this limit will be marked as "Discarded" in the log reports and will need to be resent once the next window opens or the limit is increased by an administrator.
Note: messages that are discarded due to the SMS limit being reached will not be resent automatically in the next SMS window. They will need to be re-triggered manually in order to resend.
How to Set or Edit the SMS Limit
1. In the menu, click on the icon, then select Numbers & Channels:
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Find where it says SMS Limit, and click on the Edit icon.
4. Enter a value in either the Per day or Per month text area.
5. Now click Save and you're done.
Note - To reset the limit back to Unlimited, simply repeat this process but delete the values in each field and click Save. |
