You might have noticed that there's a new button in your Sinch MessageMedia inbox! We listened to your feedback and we're updating the inbox UI, as well as making the experience faster and better than ever.
Switching on/off the New Inbox experience
For the next few weeks, you can try out the new inbox experience at your convenience by toggling it on and off. Eventually, this interface will replace the current one, but don't worry - we'll notify you well in advance before making this change permanent.
Some feature gaps you might notice
Whilst there are many benefits to toggling on the new inbox, it's temporarily lacking some of the features you're used to from our current legacy offering. This is why we've chosen to keep the new inbox available on a toggle for now.
The inbox features that a majority of our customers use are available on the new inbox, but the rest will be added over the coming weeks. We wanted to give you plenty of time to check out how the new inbox looks and feels so that when the new inbox does have all the features that the current one has, you'll be ready for the final switch to the new one.
But don't worry, once we meet feature parity with the legacy inbox, we'll give you plenty of notice to try out the new one and get comfortable with it before making the permanent switch.
What is better about the new inbox?
- It's Faster - As your business grows along with ours, our product offering needs to scale as well. With lots of customers sending and receiving messages through our inbox, we have to push to keep up with the new demand to ensure that everything runs just as quickly as it always has. Rebuilding the inbox means rebuilding an inbox that scales in growth seamlessly - so if at any given moment one of our customers gets millions of inbound messages, and another gets only a few, none of our customers will notice a difference in speed or service.
- It's easier to use - We've analyzed thousands of pieces of feedback from customers over years of operation and the outcome of that is the inbox's new approach to usability. With it's sleek new design we hope customers find it easier to find what they need quickly and intuitively.
- It's easier to improve - An inbox that is built better means an inbox that is easier to build upon. We want to ensure that we keep a competitive offering that solves problems for your business, no matter your role or industry. By rebuilding the inbox, we are improving our responsiveness to your feedback and industry trends, ensuring advancements in messaging tech are integrated, rather than overlooked, as we keep up with current service demands.
The decommission of the current legacy inbox
For the next few weeks, you can try out the new inbox experience at your convenience by toggling it on and off. Eventually, this interface will replace the current one. When we incorporate all of the features from our current legacy inbox into the new one, we will give you plenty of notice to toggle it on and get used to the way the new one works.
Don't worry - we'll notify you well in advance before making this change permanent.
