Reporting on SMS Campaigns in Shopify

The app now includes reporting on SMS campaign success. This is visible in either the app's home dashboard, or the SMS Campaigns dashboard. The dashboard in the App's home menu will show you stats for only your top three campaigns for the past 30 days, whereas the dashboard in the SMS Campaigns page allows you to select your preferred date range and shows stats on all campaigns.


To view  the dashboard in the App's home screen, simply click on Dashboard in the App menu, and then scroll down past the Abandoned cart dashboard:


Here you will see the dashboard which shows you the following:

The numbers reported in the first three blocks - Sessions (Clicks), Orders, and Cost - are accumulative over the last 30 days for all campaigns that have been sent.

   1. ‘Sessions (clicks)’ represents the total number of sessions - or visits to your store - your campaigns with links have generated

   2. ‘Orders’ shows the total number of orders created and revenue generated from SMS campaigns in the last 30 days

   3. ‘Cost’ shows the total cost of sending out your SMS campaigns

Your top three performing campaigns over the last 30 days are also listed with useful data columns

   4. 'Sent' identifies how many messages were sent for each specific campaign, and how much money was spent on it

   5. ‘Sessions (clicks)’ represents the total number of sessions (i.e. visits to your store) that your campaigns have generated
 (when the campaigns contained links)

   6. ‘Carts’ identifies how many carts your SMS campaign has generated that haven’t progressed to order

   7. ‘Order’ identifies number of orders generated through each campaign and percentage of orders from campaign sent

   8. The “ROI” column displays Return on Investment percentage from message sent


To view reporting in the SMS Campaigns dashboard, simply click SMS Campaigns in the menu to the left and track your progress:
 


1. Select a date range for your reporting


2. ‘Sessions (clicks)’ represents the total number of sessions (i.e. visits to your store) that your campaigns have generated
 (when the campaigns contained links)

3. ‘Orders’ shows the total number of orders created and revenue generated from SMS campaigns in the time period selected

4. ‘Cost’ shows the total cost of sending out your SMS campaigns

5. The full list of campaigns set up on your account

6. 'Sent' identifies how many messages were sent for each specific campaign, and how much money was spent

7. 'Sessions' identifies the number of trackable click-throughs to your site for each particular campaign as well as percentage of sessions from messages sent

8. ‘Checkouts’ identifies how many carts your SMS campaign has generated that haven’t yet progressed to a transaction/order

9. ‘Orders’ identifies number of orders generated through each campaign and the value of those orders from each campaign sent

10. The “ROI” column displays Return on Investment percentage from message sent, based on cost of messaging versus value of orders generated

11. The Status column indicates whether or not the campaign has been ‘Scheduled’ or ‘Sent’. If the campaign is scheduled for a future date, no other data will show for this campaign
